Welcome to August...

Welcome to August 2018! This is chapter 8 of the 12 chapter year. Did you know that August is Admit you are Happy Month?

What does this mean? I encourage you to take daily time-outs so that you can become more HAPPY, grateful and excited about your venture.

  • Start a journal and write down 10 things each day that you are grateful for. This can be done in the morning or at night before bedtime. I personally write down what I am grateful for at the end of each day. It gives me time to look back on the day and truly give thanks for my blessings.

  • Smile! Try to get in the habit of smiling at strangers when you pass them. Its contagious - it really is and it may help start a conversation.

  • Do something for someone else without making an announcement on social media. Compliment someone. Pay it forward - pay for the order in the car behind you in the drive-thru. Let someone in front of you in the grocery line. Open the door for someone else. Volunteer.

  • Take a "ME" day and do something for yourself. Go to the spa. Get your nails done. Get your hair done. Buy that outfit. Take that trip to the beach.

  • Do something that your future self will thank you for. Commit to exercising 30 minutes a day. Commit to meeting your target step count. Commit to finishing that book. Commit to finishing that yard project, that garage project, that work project.

Remember each day is a new day to be great!
